LLECP Case Studies

One of the main objectives of the London Low Emission Construction Partnership has been to carry out dust and emission reduction trials on active construction and demolition sites across London using high quality mesurement devices and specialist data analysis tools to assess the impact of a range of abatement techniques. So far these trials have included chemical dust suppressants, diesel fuel additives, alternative fuels, hybrid power generators and retrofit after exhaust treatment technology.

We have also been involved in a measurement campaign charactorising diesel emissions from non-road mobile machinery and this new understanding will demonstrate how off-road machine engines are performing in 'real world' environments as well as contributing to a more accurate London Atmospheric Emissions Inventory.

This page is a developing resource and each of the case studies will be added as the trials are written up by the LLECP team.
